After two years, I am excited to be hosting a performance with my students. 40 dance students between the ages four and sixty nine are presenting their skills in an entertaining program, including traditional pieces like Jatisvaram, Shabdam, and Varnam, and also modern songs from Anoushka Shankar or IndianRaaga.
As guest performers, we’re welcoming Chidambaram Narayanan with his Mridangam students. As places are limited, registration via Eventbrite is required. Admission is free, but a small contribution is requested. The event lasts about 1:30 h.
