Margazhi, or Margashira in Sanskrit, is an auspicious month for spiritual and cultural reasons. You can find Kolams in every household much before the sunrise. From Andal’s Thiruppavai to the Madras Music Academy’s concerts, or kutcheris, to the buzz of Slokas, Harikathas, Dance, Music and more, Margazhi is a special month for everybody.
SIFAA, the Swiss Indian Fine Arts Association is bringing the flavours of Margazhi to Zurich in a weekend filled with Indian Music, Dance, Arts and Food. Dr Sharmila Rao and students of Sharmila Rao are performing at this event on 11.Dec.2022.
